The modules share a few controls and ideas.
- Big Knob Sets how much of the module you get. One knob moves several settings at once, tuned to work together, and at 0 the module does nothing. Hold [Cmd] (Mac) or [Alt] (Windows) to move all six together.
- Enable button The small button at the top left of each Big Knob switches its module on and off. Drag across several to switch them in one go.
- Lock Hover over a Big Knob to reveal its padlock. A locked module keeps its settings when you change presets, though you can still adjust it.
- Changing the order Drag Wobble, Distort, Digital, Space or Loss by its handle to change the order they process your sound in. Noise always comes first. The order is saved in presets and also applies inside the Echo. Put Space before Distort, for example, and the reverb gets distorted too.
- Flux Adds organic, random movement, tailored to each module. It follows the Big Knob and Magnitude, so it does nothing while the Big Knob is at 0. A little adds life, and a lot gets cosmically wild. Hold [Cmd] (Mac) / [Alt] (Windows) to move all the Flux knobs together.
- Focus and Cut A range slider, with a live spectrum behind it, sets the frequencies a module works on. Drag either end to set the range, or the middle to move it (hold [Cmd] (Mac) / [Alt] (Windows) to keep its width). Focus processes only what’s inside the range and leaves the rest untouched. Cut removes everything outside it.
- Balance sliders Wobble, Digital and Loss have sliders that blend two effects. At the center both run at full strength, rather than 50/50. Move toward one end and the other fades out.
- Tempo sync Controls with a sync button can lock to your DAW’s tempo, using note values, including dotted and triplet values. Switching sync on or off picks the nearest matching value, so the sound doesn’t suddenly change.
- Shape Wobble and Loss’s Magnetic mode have a Shape pad. Drag up and down to morph the movement from a smooth sine to a square wave, which jumps between two states. Drag left and right to warp it in time, so it speeds up through one part of each cycle and slows down through the other. Hold [Cmd] (Mac) / [Alt] (Windows) to lock the warp.
