If your Windows Documents folder is synced with OneDrive, you may encounter errors when launching XLN Audio applications or plugins if OneDrive is not actively running.
Quick Fix
Open the Start Menu, search for OneDrive, and launch the app.
Once OneDrive is running, click Retry on the XLN Audio error message.
Long-term Solution
To ensure your plugins work regardless of OneDrive's status, you can exclude the XLN Audio folders from syncing:
Official Method: Follow Microsoft’s guide to choosing which folders to sync. Make sure to exclude all XLN Audio related folders i your Documents folder, like XLN Online Installer and the products you own (Addictive Drums 2, RC-20 Retro Color etc.).
Sync Issues? If OneDrive refuses to stop syncing specific folders, refer to this community fix.
Note: Apply the community fix steps directly to the XLN Audio folders rather than attempting to change the location of your entire Desktop or Documents folder.
If you're still receiving this error message please contact XLN Audio support.
