We have and will never claim rights to your music or recordings. Our sole purpose is to make better and more inspiring tools for you and other musicians.
It has come to our attention that the terms and conditions for Life by XLN Audio could be misinterpreted as giving rights for recordings and music produced over to XLN Audio - this is not the case. This was never our intention and as a response we have reworded our Terms & Conditions as of Dec 8, 2023, clarifying the following:
What we will do
- We ask permission to handle your files via the cloud. This is to give you the smoothest user experience possible in Life by XLN Audio, files being synced everywhere at all times and readily available for you to make music.
- We use recordings to train Life’s machine-learning algorithm to make the beat generation and beat variation tools even better for you.
What we will not do
- We will never claim rights to your recordings
- We will never claim rights to your music
- We will never repurpose your recordings for sample packs or other product content
- We will never share your recordings
If you prefer to opt-out from our data processing you can do so on the Data Preferences page in your xlnaudio.com account.
